What is arts-based facilitation?
Arts-based learning and facilitation is not about turning people into artists. However it does allow professional practitoners in whatever field they are in to think artfully about what they do. It offers new insights, different perspectives and provides new approaches for decision-making and solution-finding. The simple exercise in the image below asks "what do we see - what is this image about?" We will all see it in a different way. Having our ideas heard or our assumptions challenged through someone else's eyes can provide us with the opportunity to see things anew.

We all know how essential it is for people to have the right technical skills. But what differentiates you and your organisation? What makes you stand out from the crowd? What makes your organisation unique? Generally it is the people within the business that make the difference. It is the people who have the creative potential to make your organisation stand out from the others. What is your business doing to develop a creative workforce?
Current research states the need to develop communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, creative skills and right brain stuff. What other capabilities do you, and the people in your people business need to do more than just get by? How are you building capacity in your business. Organisations are looking for new and innovative ways to create value and be leaders in the field. What are you doing to be leaders in your field?
At the heart of Maverick Minds is Artful Inquiry. Maverick Minds is passionate about working with businesses who are looking for ways to engage, develop and motivate their people to reach their full potential and achieve their desired outcomes. Through the creative process we aim to:
